Karen Gem D. Torres

Karen obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Centro Escolar University – Makati and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from De La Salle University – Manila.

She joined EPEEQ Law in 2023 and is currently part of the firm’s Tax and Corporate Team. Her practice focuses on advising corporate clients on tax compliance and planning. She is primarily responsible for handling tax matters, including responding to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) assessments, as well as assisting in applications for tax treaty relief and VAT refunds. She also provides support on various corporate legal services, such as corporate housekeeping, entity formation, and post-formation compliance for local and foreign clients.
